I'm Hannah, I am a Certified Wedding Planner, owner of Hannah Lucy Wedding and Event Planning, and mommy to one little boy and a cat. Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you I love to organise just about anything and get a real kick out of seeing other's happy.
I love meeting clients, finding out about their thoughts, ideas, hopes and dreams for their event and working with them to create a day that is as individual as they are. I am all about creating unique events with buckets of personality.
Based in Birmingham I am centrally located to work across the Midlands. If you want a planner and designer who listens to your budget and understands your needs, will keep everything running smoothly and on schedule with precise coordination...that's me!

My Story
I have designed and organised events of all kinds from weddings, dinner dances, fundraising events, birthday parties, retirement do's, hen parties and baby showers, to concerts, fates, design shows, open days, awards nights and conferences. I have a strong background in administration so when it come to paperwork and spreadsheets I have that covered too.
Once I decided Weddings and Events were my passion I became a Certified Wedding Planner in October 2020 after studying with the Wedding Academy to complete the Certificate in Wedding Planning. Whilst Wedding Planners in the UK do not have to have a qualification to work in the field, I felt it was important to me and my clients to ensure I had an industry related qualification as well as my degree in Media & Communication.
How I Work
I am 100% in this purely because I love creating weddings and events that are unique to each person and occasion - in my book no 2 occasions should ever be the same.
I love unusual ideas and venues and love to work across a range of styles from rural, to industrial, to something more city chic. I like to bring sustainable elements into weddings and events where possible, mixing traditional and non-traditional elements of weddings excites me and whether you will be celebrating with an entire army, are looking for a more intimate micro-wedding or an elopement, I'm your girl!
I have a network of wonderful venues and suppliers in the UK suitable for all budgets and styles, and will work to ensure I find the right suppliers for your event. I do not stick to a defined list and do not take any commission from suppliers - if any reductions in fees are offered these are passed directly to you.
All clients can book a free consultation with me where we will meet and get to know each other. I will get an overview of your wants and needs for your wedding or event and provide you with a proposal of services and a quote to make your day happen. There is absolutely no obligation at this point, so a free chat is worth a go. Once you have considered the proposal, asked any further questions you may have and decided if I am right for you, we can then move on to creating the full proposal, detailed quote and our contract to ensure we are all on the same page before work commences.
